Manny PACMAN Pacquiao vs Brandon BAM BAM Rios - The Unanswered Questions

Manny Pacquiao vs Brandon Rios FINALLY – It’s Fight Night – TONIGHT (Or Sunday Morning in China) Manny PACMAN Pacquiao 54-5-2 is set to fight Brandon Bam Bam Rios 31-1-1 in a twelve round epic battle in Macau China for the vacant WBO International Welterweight Title. Vegas has the odds at PACMAN -550 and Bam Bam +425. Even though the odds show a huge differential between the fighters there are still many unanswered questions as to whether Manny is the fighter he once was. Since Manny’s “lifestyle” change PACMAN seems to have a new found compassion for his opponents that has prevented him from dominating them the way he was able to pre-2009. More importantly, Manny has lost his last two fights with his most recent fight coming to an end with a devastating knockout that left Manny face down on the canvas. The burning questions that everyone in the boxing world wants answered are: 1) Has Manny fully recovered from the horrific six round knockout punch delivered by Juan Manuel Marquez on December 8, 2012. Typically, it is very difficult psychologically for a fighter to come back from a knockout of this magnitude. Many sports analysis have made statements that no boxer has ever been able to come back from a knock out as damaging as the one delivered my Marquez. However, how many 8 time 8 division world champions have not came back from a knockout like the one suffered by PACMAN on December 8, 2012??? None as Manny is the only 8 time 8 division champion in the history of the sport. Some athletes are able to do the impossible, overcome the obstacles, and defy the odds. 2) Does Manny still have the heart of a champion and the desire to be a top tier fighter? There is no questions that Manny has the physical skill set to dominate the boxing world, but with all of his other responsibilities – Politics, Religion, and Philanthropy – does he really have the hunger and desire to dig down into his soul if he gets into trouble in the fight. These questions may – or may not – be answered tonight. Brandon Rios is a very tough opponent, but also much slower, lacks head movement, and defiantly not considered an elite fighter in the game. If Manny is able to walk through this fight we might not find out if Manny’s chin has recovered and how deep his desire runs. Anyway, it’s fight night so Let’s Get Ready To Rumble!
