Apple will announce info on its iphone watch in September 2014

The iWatch may be arriving sooner than anyone expected. With the announcement of the upcoming iPhone 6 introduction at Apple’s September 9 iPhone event, reports have been made that the tech giant will also unveil its iWatch, a wearable version of the latest smart technology. First reported to be arriving later in October, the launching of the iWatch coinciding with the arrival of the iPhone 6 signifies a bold move on Apple’s part as it transitions to a new generation of tech devices.

There’s a reason that so many digital cameras have a hand grip built into their bodies – it makes them easier to hold onto when taking pictures. Unfortunately for people whose smartphone doubles as their camera, phones lack such a feature. London-based product designer Lee Harris decided to address that shortcoming, with his snappgrip case for iPhones 4 and 5, and Samsung Galaxy S3. When you’re not taking pictures, the snappgrip looks and acts just like a regular protective smartphone case. When it’s time to do some serious picture-taking, however, you just snap on its hand grip/controller. Not only does this device let you get a firmer grip on the phone, but it also has controls on its top surface that allow you to activate the shutter, change between shooting modes, and zoom in or out. On the bottom, there’s a standard tripod mount hole, a standby switch for saving power between shots, and a mini-USB port for charging its lithium-ion battery. The unit communicates with the phone via Bluetooth, and a custom iOS or Android app.

T-Mobile iPhone 5 Will Be Available Starting On April 12

NEW YORK (Associated Press/The Huffington Post)-- T-Mobile will start offering the iPhone 5 on April 12. The company is currently the only major U.S. carrier not to offer Apple's popular smartphone. At an event in New York on Tuesday, CEO John Legere said the lack of an iPhone "was such a huge void in our device portfolio." T-Mobile is charging $100 up front, then another $20 per month for two years, on top of the service fees for voice, text and data that start at $50 per month – cheaper than others. Customers could leave T-Mobile during that time, but would still have to pay the installments. "Stop the bullshit," CEO John Legere said, addressing competitors AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, which require customers to sign contracts to get discounts on iPhones. "Carriers are really nice to you... once every 23 months." T-Mobile's network has, until recently, not been able to offer high-speed data service to iPhones.
