Brazilian Independence Day 2010 Weekend @ Euphoria Lounge

This weekend we celebrate Brazilian Independence Day at Euphoria Lounge. For those that remember, last year was an insane party. This year we are enhancing the experience by celebrating the event over two days. Saturday, Sept. 11 Gaviao will host the event and there will be live Samba and Capoeira performances. This event will go from 9pm to 2am. Sunday, Sept 12 we will have Authentic Brazilian food, a phenomenal band, and a DJ. Both events will bring their own unique style and are a must see.

Weekend of August 26-28, 2010 Recap

What a weekend. Thanks to Certified Customs for the three events they hosted at Euphoria Lounge during the month of August. Their final event was on August 26, 2010.

Friday, was a blast. My friend Debbie hosted a birthday party for her little cousin Ana who turned 24 years old. The night was a mixture of top 40, electronica, hip hop and Latin music. Overall, I think the Latin music took over as once the DJ started playing cumbia, bachata, merengue, and salsa you could not get people off the dance floor.

Saturday was a HUGE success. The set up was insane. We brought in almost 100 sq feet of stage as well as extra LEDs and a sound engineer to make sure everything was perfect. 2012 hosted the event and even volunteered to get the party started. None of the scheduled acts wanted to perform first. Even thought 2012 has been performing across the country all summer and is set to hit New York on Tuesday, they stepped up, performed first, and set the tone for the event. They rocked the house. The remaining acts followed suit and the night was a lot of fun.

THURSDAY is part III of the Certified Thursdays August Edition.

FRIDAY in addition to our regular FUBAR FRIDAYS Ana will be celebrating her birthday VIP style.

SATURDAY Aug 28, 2010 - TIME 2 SHINE - Hosted by 20:12 with sounds by DJ R Squared. Performances by: The Arkhightek, Play It Through, Remedy Records, Gizmo 1 & Lont Dawg. It all goes down at Euphoria. Doors @ 9pm. 21 + with ID.
